Lasse's American debut film "Once Around" is finally getting released on DVD on December 28, 2004 and will only cost $9.99. You can order it now on Amazon.com . The movie was a big success when it was released in 1991. You can read some great reviews on Amazon if you'd like to know more.

According to two articles from Swedish magazines Aftonbadet and Svenska Dagbladet , Lena is working with Lasse on Casanova. Thanks to Sammy, Lenaolin.net has the translation for the Svenska Dagbladet article, which contains a brief description of her role in the movie.
It also contains this interesting tidbit about Lasse and '

', his future project with Tom Hanks:
"In the middle of all this hullabaloo and constant remakes, costumes, money, the producer Disney and everything, Lasse is still so calm. There is one reason why he has come as far in Hollywood as he has: his simplicity and closeness to the actors. In November, they are going back home to Bedford outside NY when Lasse plans to shoot a movie with Tom Hanks."
» August 20, 2004 || Jeremy Irons joins the cast of 'Casanova':
According to The Z Review , Jeremy Irons has joined the cast of Casanova, Lasse's current project.
"Jeremy Irons is to star in Lasse Hallstrom's Casanova along with Heath Ledger and Sienna Miller. Irons will play Pucci in the film about the famed seducer who learns the meaning of true love when he meets a woman immune to his charms. A new draft of the script is being worked on by Michael Cristofer."
